BTCCSquare news:

Ukraine has sanctioned 60 cryptocurrency companies, alleging their involvement in aiding Russian sanctions evasion. The measures, enacted under Decree No. 465/2025, include asset freezes and bans on economic activities. Five exchanges were singled out for facilitating Russian evasion efforts, while 19 mining firms and 17 digital asset issuers already under U.S. sanctions were targeted.

Non-Russian entities like Cyprus-based Token Trust Holdings and UAE's Bitpapa IC FZC were also listed—mirroring existing U.S. restrictions. President Zelenskyy claims billions were funneled through one unnamed company, though specifics remain undisclosed. Kyiv will urge EU and U.S. allies to adopt parallel restrictions.
